LED fixtures have numerous benefits over conventional
outdoor lighting. Many bulbs are rated at 50,000 hours which means almost
30 years of run time! (At an average run time of 5 hours per day).
LED bulbs also burn cold, no more burning your hand trying to adjust the aim of
the light. LED lighting systems also use so little energy that gone are
the days of the gigantic transformers, or worse multiple transformers.
Furthermore, LED lighting systems are exceptionally easy to add too. One
300 watt transformer running at 80% capacity will only hold 12 conventional 20
watt lights. That same transformer running at the same 80% capacity will
hold an astounding 80 3 watt LED. (Most LEDs are sold with either a 1watt,
3watt or 5watt bulbs and can be bought in hundreds of options and styles).
